Accident Cash

Accident cash can protect you and your family from unexpected costs incurred by an accident.

Money isn’t easy to come by if you are unable to work, especially if you are self-employed. Unfortunately, more than 6 million people per year are injured and face this situation. However, you can avoid this bleak scenario by buying your insurance company’s accident cash plan, which can help you stay out of debt if you are unexpectedly injured.

The company will review your case and consider whether you are eligible or not. As part of the application process, you may have to fill out an Authorization for Release of Information form, which gives your attorney permission to provide information about your case to the company. The company may ask for police reports, medical records and worker’s incident report. After consideration, the company will then make an offer. If you accept the offer, a contract will be written based on agreements made between you and the company.

What is accident cash?

Accident cash is available through some insurance companies and can protect you against costs incurred by accidents. For example, accident cash plans will provide you with anywhere from $100 to $1,300 per day if you are hospitalized to help cover the cost of bills and the money lost from being out of work. The amount of accident cash available to you is dependent on your level of health, your insurance company and your insurance premiums.

Accidents can happen anytime, which is why it pays to protect yourself. For as low as two dollars per day, depending on your insurance company, you can get protection for yourself and your family against accidents. Some insurance companies offer plans which double your accident cash in specific situations, such as getting hurt on public transport or in a private car, being the victim of a robbery, or being a victim of a fire or explosion within your residential building. You may also be able to find accident cash plans that automatically increase your accident cash benefits by 5 to 10 percent compounded for a preset time period if you have made no claim during the insured period. Some insurance companies even offer plans that cover you worldwide. Accidents can happen in places where medical service is inadequate or simply unavailable. Some insurance companies have a medical evacuation team that will make every effort to evacuate you to the nearest location with adequate medical facilities, or will take you back home where you can receive proper medical treatment.
